Baby Gerbils up for Adoption! in Chicago, Illinois For Sale

We had some gerbil babies and their mom dropped off at our rescue. We now have up for adoption the mom gerbil and her baby.
The mother gerbil is black and is approximately 6 months old. The baby gerbil was born on January 10, xxxx, and is now ready to go to her new home with her mom. The baby gerbil is lilac in color.
Both gerbils are very sweet. The baby has been handled daily since birth (by the previous home, and then by us once she got here). Both gerbils all love chewing and burrowing and hiding, and do great when picked up. They are very used to people and like being held and petted. They will crawl onto your hand when you put your hand in their cage. Neither of these gerbils bite.
Please note: the previous home of these gerbils has asked that the new adoptive homes keep in touch with them. This simply means sending them an email or a picture here or there. If you are not willing to do this, please move on to some of our other adoptable pets.
If you are interested in adopting these gerbils, you will be asked to read our gerbil care packet and fill out our gerbil adoption form. No gerbils will go to their new homes without an adoption form being filled out - no exceptions.
