Genuine jumbo-sized xxxx serial-numbered coupon bond issued by the State of Illinois Armory Association First Regiment Cavalry and signed by Jacobs (Secretary) and Weller (President).
Beautiful graphic on the top of the document depicts an armed soldier riding a steed and an American bald eagle nesting among six American flags (three on each side).
$100 is super-imposed in large numeric light yellow ink in the middle of the document to denote the principal denomination of the coupon bond.
Document was produced by the JNO. B. JEFFERY Printing and Engraving House in Chicago and is in excellent condition except for folds.
Suitable for framing using your glassed frame. Measures 15 X 17 inches, but that does not include the fifteen cut-out interest coupons which are still attached to the bottom of the document. You may fold these back if framing the document.
