1893 Fire Insurance Policy - Fidelity of Cincinnati OH in Chicago, Illinois For Sale

Red serial-numbered authentic xxxx fire insurance policy issued by Fidelity Fire and Marine Insurance Company of Cincinnati, OH. Document measures 17 X 22 inches, and the top quarter of document features graphic of a large cuddly dog laying on top of an old-style floor safe. An old-style latch key hangs alone on the wall behind the dog and above the safe. The dog graphic is neatly framed by a banner and an ornate grill design promoting the name of the insurance company. The lower three-quarters of the document detail terms and stipulations of the fire insurance coverage. Backside of document is mostly blank, but does contain some non-descript information.
Suitable for framing under glass. Excellent condition except for fold creases which should be indiscernible once document is pressed under glass for awhile. No other flaws or imperfections whatsoever. Document has retained most of its original crispness over 119 years.
