Independent Order of Foresters, which traces its origin to a British Friendly Society in 14th century England, began as an organization caring for the sick. The IOF in the United States became independent of the British chapter in xxxx, and by the early xxxxs, Foresters grew into one of North America's leading fraternal benefit societies with membership reaching 257,000 in xxxx and admitted women as full members before it was popular.
As IOF has also been active in helping communities in need, the Foresters helped transform North America's insurance industry by extending insurance benefits to the average working family.
The poster, dated xxxx, contains beautiful coloration and interesting visceral depictions reminiscent of a Beatles psychadelic period album cover.
