1921 Brochure - Three Creeks Ranch Montana in Chicago, Illinois For Sale

This is a handsome 24-page brochure dated xxxx to promote the sale of 83 parcels of land located in the Ruby Valley amongst Indian Creek, Mill Creek and Wisconsin Creek in Madison County, Montana just north of the Ruby River and near the southernmost tip of the state directly south of Helena. A removable 13 1/8 X 14 1/8 folded scaled map of the land parcels is tucked inside the brochure.
To promote investment in these land parcels, the brochure quotes "Less than a lifetime ago, Iowa farms, now worth $250 an acre, could be bought for a tenth of that price. A short while before that, those same farms were homesteaded at a dollar and a quarter an acre. But now farmers are elbowing one another so hard that prices of all good lands are steadily climbing."
The brochure features farmland, ranch houses, clean water, irrigated crops, fertile soil, railway access, cattle grazing, a nearby big-city market, a national forest, and creamery facilities with plenty of black-and-white illustrations. Wheat, oats, potatoes and hay are promoted as the bumper crops, but brochure also encourages raising cattle, chickens and hogs too.
Brochure measures 7 3/16 X 10 1/4 inches and is in excellent condition, same as the folded map tucked tucked inside. There is no handwriting on either document. Map has one 1/2 inch rip. .
