1951 Memorandum - No Sympathy for the Devil? (Chicago Bible Society) in Chicago, Illinois For Sale

Authentic xxxx memorandum on the letterhead of the Chicago Bible Society located at 35 E. Wacker Drive. The document's top-left corner contains a graphic of an open bible resting beneath a stained glass window, and the plain-logo organization name appears at top-center along with small notation that this particular Bible Society was founded in xxxx, just five years after Chicago itself was founded.
A Bible society is a non-profit and non-denominatiomal Christian organization (usually worldwide in makeup) devoted to translating, publishing, distributing the Bible at affordable costs and advocating its credibility and trustworthiness in contemporary cultural life according to the demands and canons of all the churches in that land (e.g. Protestant, Catholic or Orthodox). A number of state and regional Bible Societies were established prior to the Civil War and remain active to this day distributing Bibles and other literature to prisons, soldiers, hospitals and homeless shelters.
