Antique Silver-Plated Jewelry Box in Chicago, Illinois For Sale

Antique silver-plated jewelry box is covered with raised scroll work all over, including underside. The underside still gleams in its original silver glory, but the top which has a slightly duller silver hue due to age.
The hinged lid opens to an inside covered with red velvet cloth both under the lid and at the coffin-bottom and sides of the interior jewelry area.
Total height is 2 1/8 inches, which includes three short clawed legs. Approximate overall dimensions are 3 3/4 inches length and 4 1/2 inches width. Item is not a perfect square. Only the rear is straight-line, while the other three sides have an ornate soft curvature. Weight: 1.7 pounds. Condition: lightly used.
Estimated age is 80-110 years old, but I have no way to prove it objectively. Suffice to say "They don't make 'em like this anymore". This is a beautiful piece.
