Collection of seven vintage xxxx postcards of classic art sculptures from the series of atelier Gebr. Micheli of Berlin, Germany. (Note: Atelier is a French-derived word meaning "artist's workshop".) Gebruder Micheli, a fine arts German company specializing in portrait busts, statues and sculptures, compiled a massive postcard series of many of the most fabled sculptured works in history. Each postcard contains a solid black background to focus sole attention on the sculptured subject matter. (Charlie Rose Show also employs a solid black background as visual technique to focus sole attention on guests' conversations.) Each postcard contains an identifier number in lower left corner.

Postcards are in Excellent condition and contain no writing (front or back), stains, bends or creases, tears or pinholes. The corners show light wear. Each postcard measures 3 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches.
