Loeber Motors, located minutes from the City of Chicago in Lincolnwood, Illinois, is currently seeking a full-time Automotive Internet Manager with 5+ years of experience to further drive our dealership experience into the digital age.Qualified candidates should have an emphasis in vehicle merchandising, website maintenance, optimization, and content creation. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will bring positive and professional leadership to Loeber Motors while improvingdigital presence for both our Mercedes-Benz and Porsche locations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and regularly update LoeberMotors com and LoeberPorsche com, which includes merchandising vehicles with photos, features, price, etc.
Proactively coordinate multiple photos and video of all new and used inventory as it arrives on the lot and publish to relevant websites.
Create and compile reports to measure dealership?s website performance, specifically focusing on VDP and SRP page views, conversions, call volume, and effectiveness of lead sources.
Improve usability, design, and content of the dealership website to increase conversions and site traffic.
Work in partnership with the dealership?s marketing agency, external website vendors, and lead providers to ensure that all website components meet management expectations.
Collaborate with General Manager and/or General Sales Manager to plan, manage, and compare new and used vehicle inventory and pricing.
Determine, with assistance from sales managers, which specific models need to be emphasized through advertising efforts, internal marketing tools, etc.
Set a clear digital vision with specific goals to help the sales team achieve performance targets in new and used vehicle sales and profit.
Build landing pages to assist in direct marketing efforts.
Create and/or edit compelling and engaging content through our content management systems to educate prospective customers and generate leads.
Provide ongoing input and ideas for improvements to website and facilitate those changes with website providers.
Monitor website and conduct regular audits to ensure that all aspects of the site are working properly for potential customers using the website.
QUALIFICATIONS
You must be a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is organized and always looking to improve the dealership?s websites.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle merchandising, with an online focus.
Experience building, launching, and managing online elements of an automotive website.
Familiarity with automotive DMS and CRM tools and software.
Experience with basic automotive photography and photo editing.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
Bachelors/Associates degree in Information Technology, communications, digital media; Certification or related degree.
