As part of our elite Business Analytics team, you will leverage business process knowledge and provide technical support to help move sales opportunities to closure. Responsibilities may include demos, proof of concept, creating responses to request for information/proposals, participation in marketing events, provide skills transfer, develop and deliver intellectual capital and provide input in product and sales strategy. Candidates can reside in Illinois, Minnesota or Wisconsin or Missouri. Successful PM Solution Specialist candidates should have experience in a Finance environment working with enterprise Financial Reporting and Budgeting systems. Experiences with IBM Cognos TM1, IBM Cognos Planning, Hyperion Planning, SAP BPC, Hyperion HFM, Essbase, Clarity or similar products are preferred. Understanding of SEC and Edgar reporting requirements would be a nice complement to the software experience. Candidates should have a solid understanding of competitive technologies and their place in the market, and be able to present to audiences of all levels within a business with great written and oral communication skills. They should also have knowledge of the Financial Reporting and FP&A space, understand the issues/pains that finance users experience with legacy reporting and budgeting solutions, such as Excel and be able to articulate a corresponding solution based on IBM software. Having some Finance related IT project experience, such as programming language, database, network or equivalent will also be helpful. Required * High School Diploma/GED * Basic knowledge in Finance/Accounting * Basic knowledge in Financial Reporting and/or FPandA Systems * Readiness to travel 50% travel annually * English: Fluent Preferred * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance * At least 6 months experience in Finance/Accounting * At least 2 years experience in Financial Performance Management tools * At least 2 years experience in Presales, Sales Engineering or Consulting * At least 2 years experience in Technical knowledge of Cognos PM tools and related products.
