Job Description:/h3:
The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Specialist is responsible for supporting the daily operations and process improvement activities of the SCM Department. The Specialist will support the activities of the Production Planning, Procurement, Warehouse and Shipping departments. He/She will be responsible for the implementation of department projects that will result in better productivity in compliance with the regulatory agencies. This position requires traveling between the TPI Chicago and Wood Dale locations.
Responsibilities:
:Act as the subject matter expert related to SCM systems (I.e. JD Edwards (ERP), POMSnet (MES), Crystal, Master Control and others)
:Acts as the Master Data Manager for the ERP and POMS systems.
:Shipping Validation.
:Seek for areas of improvement and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) accordingly
:Develop ad hoc reports
:Assists in documentation needs
:Provides information to upper management on key compliance or productivity issues
:Challenge the status quo
:Seeks areas of improvement
Education:
:Bachelors Degree, preferably in science, Industrial Engineering with proven technical proficiency with enterprise tools (JD Edwards, POMSnet, Crystal, Master Control, MS Access, Excel).

Demonstrated skills in data manipulation, sorting, and analysis (creating queries, pivot tables and dashboards) : Strong analytical skills

Experience:
:5 : 7 years of experience in materials management, planning, scheduling, MRP, ERP systems implementation, project management and continuous improvement.
:Previous shipping validation experience.
:4 additional years of experience in a pharmaceutical or biologics manufacturing environment.

:Must read, write, and speak English

:Must be able mathematical skills for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Reasoning Skills:
:Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
