This position can be based in the greater Chicago area or be remotely-based (preferably on the East Coast, due to travel requirements).
POSITION PROFILE:
? The position of Production Marketing Manager (PMM) provides direct support to the field sales teams and focuses on the core Ricoh Production initiatives and goals.
? The primary focus centers on creating synergy between Ricoh Production and the core business lines, driving education of the production environments & production products, development of programming that creates lead generating & lead sharing between the teams, and support of all field activities and events.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Maintain communication channels between Ricoh Production and Ricoh field sales team. A vital component to this is an active relationship with the Ricoh Regional Marketing Manager, Ricoh Field Management, and the Ricoh Production Sales Managers.
? Coordinate and execute education to the field on the production environment & production equipment.
? Support and implement initiatives created by product marketing and vertical managers to the regions the CMM covers.
? Create demand and lead generation programs within CMM region.
? Support all field activities by attending open-houses, seminars, tradeshows, and Ricoh technology showcase events.
? Provide feedback to Ricoh Production marketing regarding issues, opportunities, and/or problems.
? Spend time traveling in the field supporting sales opportunities / sales calls.
? Drive all initiatives that will support achieving the overall sales goals and targets for the organization.
? Leverage products, solutions, and professional services to position Ricoh in the production space.
? Production solutions defined as Ricoh Pro products, Ricoh Wide Format Products, Total Flow Partner Solutions, Third party products as necessary to support the market (Kodak, Epson, and various finishing partners).
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications):
? The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four year college or university with relevant professional experience.
? Minimum of 5+ years in a marketing or sales role is required.
? Minimum of 5+ years? experience in product and solution sales and/or support is required.
? Demonstrated knowledge of products and solutions is required.
? Ability to utilize standard software Microsoft office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
