The Technology Portal Manager is responsible for the IT infrastructure strategy of our National portal footprint inclusive of domain, Virtual Management servers, technical portal policy management, enterprise application management, software and hardware planning and will act as the primary technical & strategic advisor to the Senior Manager of Technology Awareness.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
? Strategist for Portal technology road map and infrastructure.
? Design, maintain and support Portal domain.
? Architect, tests and maintains Server and Desktop VM Templates.
? Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves virtual environment.
? Lead for training and technology deployment.
? Maintain Portal infrastructure to be aligned with Ricoh IT policy.
? Ownership of Enterprise Solutions on Portal Domain.
? Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for portal infrastructure.
? Manage sales and marketing strategies of assigned Technology Portal that support our Direct and Dealer partners. Activities include, but are not limited to; service and product demonstrations, production demonstrations, proof of concept work, customer and sales employee training, technology briefings, open house events, technology deployment and the related management reporting on portal usage.
? Perform C-Level presentations and promote new technologies
? Develop an effective demonstration for external customers by presenting best practices. Support corporate initiatives in a non-bias atmosphere
? Implement all activities at the Portal inclusive of staffing, daily communication, organization, and logistics
? Create and update sales tools and marketing material to be used at Portals designed to position Ricoh as a services led, high value solutions provider to our customers and prospects
? Support and communicate "Technology Awareness Marketing" direction at assigned Portal and in the field.
? Facilitate communication with each Technology Portal to effectively position Ricoh solution-based products as a preferred provider in the market.
? Provide application demonstration support, as needed.
? Prepare Management reports on status of activity and ROI of all Portal activity.
? Provide feedback for key sales and marketing material that is utilized with customers.
? Ensure the deployment is a consistent message by working with and communicating with Product Managers at HQ to deploy HW/SW strategies through all Portal activities.
? Promote Marketing initiatives and work with Marketing Team to Provide Voice of the Field and Voice of the Customer.
Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):
? Requires technical degree, certification or equivalent experience
? Requires minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems
? Requires minimum of 3 years of experience with VMWare
? Requires knowledge of TCP/IP protocol and knowledge of networking hardware and software, diagnosis, configuration and installations.
