Description
Cintas is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to be responsible for setting the product/supply strategy and total cost management to meet the service/product needs of our Cintas locations. Key responsibilities would include market/data analysis for creating and managing strategies; critical negotiating skills on cost control and reduction with current and perspective suppliers. The Strategic Sourcing Category Manager would be responsible to administer/manage supplier contracts and continuous supplier performance evaluation relative to business needs and market conditions. The position would also be involved in a cross:functional working environment to engage key stakeholders, which would be both the Cintas locations utilizing the designated suppliers, as well as other internal departments who are involved in strategy:setting.
Qualifications
* High School diploma or GED required, 4 year degree preferred
* Knowledge of and experience using Internet and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Email)
* 2 years Supply Chain experience preferred
